I know they aren't real.

I know you don't.

Don't play with my feelings,
I can crush yours.

Don't underestimate me,
I'll leave you eating my dust.

Don't overestimate me,
I'll disappoint you.

Don't pretend you see me,
I know your eyes wander.

Don't lean on me,
I might let you fall.

Don't trust in me so easily,
I just might betray you.

Don't keep me waiting,
I might leave.

Don't try to smile for me,
I know it's fake.

Don't lie to me,
I can see right through you.

Don't leave me hanging,
I might not hold on.

Don't cling to me,
I'll push you away.

Don't act like you love me,
I'll just hate you even more.

Don't mess with my heart,
I just might break yours.

Don't cry for me,
I can do it myself.

Don't think that you're perfect,
I know every flaw.

Don't harm my family,
I'll rip you apart.

Don't look past me,
Look me in the eyes,Tell me what you see,
What can you find?

Are you afraid yet?
You better be.

Can you tell me the truth?
Do you see me?

See me for who I am,
Not for who you want me to be.
