Questions.

by Steven Beesley   Dec 28, 2005

Questions:

Do you ever feel remorse?
Have you no sorrow, regret or compunction?
Could you ever learn repentance?
Be free of guilt and show others compassion?

Have you no room for sympathy?
Could you ever show caring or kindness?
Learn the ways of tenderness?
Do you know what is is to be warmhearted?

Could you drive away your apathy?
To become true and have integrity?
Have you courage to admit your corruptness?
Do you have an ounce of moral fiber?

Can you turn away from your greed and selfishness?
Learn to give without taking?
Share with others and respecting?
Push aside your self indulgence?

All I see is your incompleteness, your flawed and shallow character!
Total lack of wholeness and unity!
Such obvious unprincipled multiple personality!
Your everyday diseased insensitivity!

So many questions, so little answers... That's what I always find. A very mind opening poem Steve. The questions are deep and plead for answers. Your vocabulary is never ending. Great write as always!
