Quagmire of my dreams.

by Steven Beesley   Dec 28, 2005

Quagmire of my dreams:

Wading through the quagmire of my dreams,
a million splinters serrating my very soul.
Sprinkling hot embers on my heart,
poisoned words whispered in my ears.

Drowning daily from your inflicted lies.
Sobering to such pathetic views; the
truth like leeches sucking on my brain.
Pain a common part of each passing day.

You have no time, your heart as cold as slate!
Could you really know what hurt you create?
To hell you would send me and keep yourself in such oblivious state.
So much betrayal and treachery.

All I can see is your slippery knavery, a mind of insidious disloyalty.
