Our Broken Bond.

Our friendship was so strong
But your feelings tore us apart
Although I cannot love you
You`ll always be in my heart

One day you tell me
That you`re so deeply in love
This girl that you desire
Is the girl you`re always thinking of

I had no idea
This girl was me
But a friendship is all I want
So lovers we could never be

I never meant to hurt you
But I couldn`t lie
I`m truly very sorry
That our friendship must untie

The friendship that we held
You uncaringly thrown away
You made me cry one night
With all the hurtful things you say

You put me down
And hurt me so
Are you really worth it
Sadly my answer is no

I guess our friendship
Wasn`t as strong as I once knew
Our bond was broken
With not one goodbye from you.
