A Mother's Love

by Katrina Tamayo   Dec 28, 2005

As gentle as a summer breeze,
As soft as a flower's velvet petals,
A mother's love is forever eternal.

As close as an eyelash
As far as heaven,
A guardian angel that's always by your side.

With hugs and kisses sweet and tender,
A mother's love will never hinder.

A simple achievement will make her proud,
A mother's love singled out from a crowd.

Here or there remember one thing,
A mother's love embraces everything.

As beautiful as the stars at night,
A mother's love will hold you tight.

Never leading you astray,
Always steering you right,
A mother's love soars the heights.

This is my fourth poem. A poem that I came up with two days before Mother's Day this year.

Though it's a mediocre piece of work, I thought I'd post it anyway.

This poem goes to all of you mothers who love your child more then yourselves.

A mother that's love extends anywhere and everywhere, even after death.

    Katrina,

This poem is by no means mediocre, it is a touching dedication from the heart. Well done and keep up the work.

    Warmest regards,

    Steve
