Winter Rain

by Patrick Mcdaniel   Dec 28, 2005

This is just another night,
Just another length of time.
Just another way
Of you saying goodbye.
Just another invitation
For tears to fall.
Another moment,
To lose it all.

Just another moment,
For all of this pain,
To fall from my eyes,
To fall like the rain.

Because the rain in the winter,
Doesn't fall quite the same.
The rain in the winter,
Falls with sorrow as a name.

And the rain in the winter,
Is just like me.
We are both so cold,
But refuse to freeze.

And I'll keep falling,
Waiting for night to begin.
Thinking of your face,
And when I'll be with you again.

    Nicely done love this part:
And the rain in the winter,
    Is just like me.
    We are both so cold,
    But refuse to freeze...
