I remember you
but tha's all that you are
you're just a memory,
somewhat like a scar

you are what has been
but not what will be
the world just wouldn't let
you be with me

but it still lives on...
my memory does
and you're there in it
and so is all that was

you went your own way
and I went mine
we weren't supposed to be
