I'm not gonna cry

This time I'm not gonna cry
I've told my heart no
Even if to myself I must lie
Cause these tears cannot show

I'm struggling inside me
To escape the screams from my heart
I turn the other way
But I know that we're still apart

And I've buried my feelings
To pretend they're not there
Hoping they'll vanish
If I pretend I don't care

But I know that I'll cry
Though I've told my heart no
Cause to myself no more can I lie
One day he'll have to know
