Black Tears

by LadyPearl   Dec 28, 2005

In shadows I hide, weeping yet dreaming
On my bed I cry, wondering and seething
Everytime I weep, my tears are black
Then I look into the mirror, I see my past

In all my days i've suffered, but never like this
The blood, always falling, is it always like this
My hunger bides me to fall asleep, endlessly
And to gain the passion of darkness, painfully

They say I'm broken, and easily distraught
They say my life goes on, without a single thought
Life seems so dull, without it's joy, it's light
Maybe it's cause I have none, for I'm always in a fight

Like the diary of a fading death, I shall go too
Sooner or later, I face the choice I always knew
To keep these tears flowing, and live each day in despair
Or to end my life quickly without anyone's care

I hate these black tears which stains my face
Life keeps on going, I can't keep my pace
I hate how I tremble, when I must defend
what's left of me, is not enough, It should all just end

I loved a couple of lines but this one the most "I hate how I tremble, when I must defend" probably just because I can relate to it well......it seemed a little angsty but you wrote it well....
