Meadows of Change

In this old meadow I shall walk through and make my life as once before
These old feelings shall arrive through me as a song
This new light that shines my soul will never be broken, you will not allow it
I shall look after this Eternal Soul to bear my passion through life
New dreams shall spark new melodies to be heard from your soul to my heart
New songs to be made yet not to be heard yet
In this cold glistening water shall reflect your soul and nourish my spirit
Time will be taken to be remade into something we have created
I will look upon you for wisdom and happiness, I hope that you will do the same
Take this water and pour it on my face and wash away my negative thoughts
Running down my soul you will spark every dark corner that lurks within me
Falling to the ground to only show your occasional differences to make us alike
The sun will then dry off all the old memories to make new ones
Only I would hope for your return to make them happen
I find that this world that surrounds you will make me uneasy
It is you that will have to make it right
I have faith in you
I have hope
This life will never end as my passion and your dreams will join as one
I shall look down this old meadow and see myself standing there
I wonder if he is really there
Now the new times have created a new meadow of happiness to never leave
It is you that has created this
I hope you understand and never leave
It is in the old meadow that I see myself and another
Take my hand and we will journey through this world and never look down
As the sunset lowers you will watch the light as it disappears through my soul
The present time has reached and it is up to us to make that sunrise
We will soon see that light again, just be there and I will join you once again
To my Eternal Soul we will forever journey through this old meadow
