I'm sorry no one ever knows,
Just what it's like to be me.

I'm sorry for all those nights
I spent wishing you were there
I'm sorry for all the time
I spent wondering if you cared.

I'm sorry this is how it has to end
But this is how it has to be
I'm sorry that our last goodbye
Still won't set me free.

I'm sorry for all the fights
I'm sorry about my jealousy
I'm sorry that you'll never know
Just what you mean to me.

I'm sorry you have to go
I'm sad to see you leave
But for you to walk away
Is the only chance for me.
