Where's The End?

I pray for one thing
Pray for the end of violence
I listen for a response from the heavens
But all I get is silence

Where is my help?
I did what mama told me
I prayed for it stop
But still death is what I see

My eyes are cursed
Why can they only see brutality?
Is this really the world?
I don't understand how this could be

Carnage seems to always be the answer
But I want something more
Something that doesn't involve death
An alternative to war

I wonder each day
When will my request be sent?
When will it stop?
Where is the end?

    If I may suggest, you may want to add "to" in the line "I prayed for it stop". Great write though. This should be everyone's dream to have peace and harmony. 5/5

    Violence in the world is definitely becoming way too much to handle..5/5 wishing for an alternative to war as well
