Hidden to your love..

We went to school together
Used to be best of friends
Use to tell each one another we'd be there forever
To help each other out through thin and thick

Years went by as we grew closer
We'd go out places together, just them two
Then before I even noticed
My heart had saved a special place for you

I never truly wanted to reveal how I felt
I just was simply scared you didn't feel the same
And I would ruin our friendship
And you'd use me as a game

Hours, days, and months went by
As my feelings for you kept growing
And as me, having no control of my heart
As the love I felt for you, was through my veins running

Every simple second of each passing day
Was getting tougher to talk to you
Because I was afraid the my feelings would slip
And I'd loose you, just because the truth you now knew

But now came the day of our prom
And you asked me to be your date
Me not thinking twice I jumped and quickly answered Yes!
This was going to be the first day to go on a serious date

Later that night we went to the beach
And the you said there was something you needed to let me know
My heart started to race, as I thought you had found out
As the night gets tenser, the wind starts to blow

He took me by the hand
As we left our footprints behind
And led me down the sand
He stopped, and stood there with a big smile on his face

Then he reached for my cheek
I was so scared that this would be our goodbye
But it really wasn't anything similar to that
It was the night he confessed that no longer he could keep it a lie

He confessed his true feelings to wards me
He looked deeply in my eyes and those three words..
I love you, gently to let me hear
Left your lips like a blow of smoke

Right away I confessed how I also felt
You said you were so eager to say your name
Right after the words I Love You
Because you thought just as I did, that I didn't feel the same
