The Curtains are Closed

You could have been the one.
You would have stayed forever.
But i couldnt lead you on.
the thought of commitment was way too strong.

This all could have been avioded.
Things could have been set straight,
But i wanted to leave,
and you didnt want to wait.

After everything was said and done
I thought we could still be friends.
But no, you had to be superier,
you had to be number one.

I dont see why you envey him.
Your the one who ruined the friendship.
Your the one who played the role of e jerk
in a show that had to end.

You might see him,
as the guy who stole your girl.
When the real truth is,
I just walked out of your world.

I might have been the one to close the curtains.
And ruin your never ending play,
but your the one who pushed me away!

Thats it, we are OVER!
Theres nothing left in store,
How else can i say it?
The curtains are closed,
