Love

by 100Percent_inlove   Dec 30, 2005

Look at the trees,
Feel the wind on your face.
Do you see it?
Do you see its trace?

Stare at the rain in the spring,
Or the stars at night.
Feel the brown earth on your hands
Or the snow, soft and white.

Listen to the birds
Chirping and singing.
Do you see it now?
Buzzing, dancing, and ringing?

Hatred blinds your eyes from it.
Jealousy kills it's soul.
Love is innocent and sweet
But these two are only its foes.

If we could only see this beauty
If we could only just see.
Then we'll know what love is really about
And about love is what the world should be.
