Old but young

by Sarah Ramsey   Dec 30, 2005

As I look in the mirror I see my reflection has changed.
Worry is worn as bags around my eyes,
Wisdom has left its mark across my forehead,
Remnants of laughter appear on the corners of my mouth,
Sleepless nights have caused my hair to turn Grey.
When did I get this old/
Time has slipped by so unknowingly.
My grandson runs to me.
He needs a glass of milk.
As I leave the room, I see my reflection again,
But now I am young.
