Reminded

by ¤≈¤Hayley¤≈¤   Dec 30, 2005

As we stood there at the tailgate of your truck,
I was reminded of all the reasons why I trust you.
Your smile,
-and the way it teased at me seductively.
Your laugh,
-and the way it tempted me to kiss you.
Your eyes,
-and the way they seemed to hypnotize me.

As we layed there quietly on my bed,
I was reminded of all the reasons why I thought I loved you.
Your smile,
-and the way it brought the life out in me.
Your laugh,
-and the way it made everything okay.
Your eyes,
-and the way they seemed to read my thoughts.

As we sit here now, seperate ways and no feelings,
I am reminded of all the reasons why I hate you.
Your smile,
-and the way it confuses me.
Your laugh,
-and the way it seems to mock me.
Your eyes,
-and the way they can look into mine and not feel a thing.
