Train of Thought

by Bill Turner   Dec 30, 2005

I stuttered and stared
Watching my train of thought
Oh so chemically impaired
With the alcohol I bought

The engine jumped the track
Slowly tipping itself over
Watching from my back
Like the ugly Muppet Grover

All the cars fell on their side
One at a time
They failed to glide
Must have been nine

I have never seen that before
Not in all these years
Maybe I should just lie on the floor
To drink the last few beers

I watched my train of thought derail.....

LOL ... I love the last part about laying on the floor to drink the lasat few beers. Reminds me of the time I went out and drank so much that I was sick for three days lol...
