Honest Mistake

by VampyreQueen   Dec 30, 2005

You were taken from me too early
I buried your body as I filled up with guilt
How can I say I'm sorry when you're dead?
I hurt you, I killed you, and I loved it,
Until I realised what I had done was wrong.
Your face was stiff and horrified
As it was lower into the ground
Can you forgive me?
I echo with murder as I am taken away
No one can forgive me for my honest mistake.
My future awaits me from behind barred doors
I feel my life slipping away as I sit in the count room,
Confessing my sin.
I deserve all I get, I am forever in your debt.
