Father not dad

by Heather   Dec 31, 2005

I Share My DNA with him,
But he is just my father not my dad.
He says he loves me and will always care,
if thats true then why ain't he here.

I don't need him,
He ain't my dad.
My dad is the man who is there every night,
he who hugs me and shows me he loves me.

My father bought me my first bike,
My dad showed me the right way to ride it.
My father let me fall,
My dad picked me up and dried the tears.

People say a Father is in-replaceable,
But he is if you got a dad.
