My Heart Guitar Of Misery.

This guitar made with heart strings has been strung on too long.
Slowly they snap and I feel this becoming so wrong.
Whisper to me, the words I never have heard before,
The words in stories and lullabies that I have secretly adored.

I've been feeling myself falling apart for some time,
But I take a deep breath and put the feeling behind.
What little joy this sad melody brings to me these days,
It seems that every note has lost its most beautiful ways.

I sang to the sky about a black cloud drifting over my head,
And it mocked me by letting the rain pour down instead.
When does the suffering and the colliding of dead hopes end?
How much time in this nightmare must I spend?

I cry for the words that you could not speak to me this time,
One day I swear, I will reach inside you and them I'll find.
Maybe some day I can strum on your strings and play a nice tune,
And we'll celebrate with cheap champaign on a Saturday afternoon.

For now I'll close my eyes and let the wind direct me,
To a direction that is not towards you, though I wish it would be.
Silently I'll sulk and I'll wish this misery to soon end,
All I ask from you is to just be my best friend.

I wish you would smile and agree to my suggestion,
Lean over and kiss me, deliver to me, your sweet infection.
Tell me once, that you love me oh so dearly,
Stop breaking my heart strings and giving me misery.
