Missing and Waiting

Its been a very quiet 9, almost 10 days.
I think of you every minute I am without you, love
I hope your doing fine without me

Patiently waiting, I ponder about all the ways Im going
to love you when you return to me
I have been without you for a week
But it seems like a month
And Im so anxious to have you back in my arms

It feels strange to not have any contact with you
For an extended period of time
Makes me miss you even more since I cant hear your voice
Or read your words

I espeically miss the way you make me laugh
Every time I am around you, you bring a smile to my face
And a light to my eyes
I noticed I havent smiled lately
And my eyes have been dark

I havent missed anyone like this before
My heart has taken a vacation from me
And I think every day about when getting it back
The feelings I will have for it
It feels like I love you even more with you missing
It is very true how they say...
Absence makes the heart grow fonder

My mind is a broken record
Thinking about how much I miss kissing you
Holding you
Loving you
I miss you more than I can say, and hope to see you soon, safe and sound
