As I lay in this empty room
head filled with memories
sad ones
and happy ones

a tear slips from my eyes
as i remember
the moments we had

its hard for me to say
how much you mean to me
there isn't enough words to say it

then why
why does it hurt
why does love have to hurt
i love you
you love me
and yet
it still hurts more then anything

maybe
just maybe
you can show me
show me you care
show me love that
no one has bothered to show me
maybe then
it won't hurt as much
to let go

maybe just maybe
