The accident that changed my life

I was out partying,
last Thursday night,
having a blast till,
i almost lost my life,

every thing was cool,
we went to a couple bars,
and hustled some pool,

things were just going great,
we picked up some girls
we were taking them back to my place,
thats when everything changed in my world

we quikly slid outa control,
and tagged a tree with the passenger door,
i got messed up the worse,
35 stitchs and a broken jaw,

you dont even know how quick it was,
u cant even imagine,
one second were joking,
the next we were crashing

i remember waking up after,
the music was still on,
every one was slumped over,
ill never forget that song,

i new we were drunk,
but we do this all the time,
i knew thinking it wouldnt happen
would come to bite me in the behind,

i never thought what happened,
could change the way i look through my eyes,
now ill never leave someone i love mad,
i wanna say i love u for the last goodbye,

but if i died,
i would have been missed by many,
like may family xgirl,
and new friend jenie,

I'm gonna be different,
you just watch and see,
I'm so glad I'm alive,
glad for the new life the lord gave me,

it makes me miss the little things,
that some dont even notice,
like the sun coming up,
over the nice blue waters,

i cherish everything,
even the last moment,
i love the new life i got,
and I'm not doin any thing to blow it,
