you aint to blame at all, we all wonder what would have happened if we did this or that differently, but we cant change the past. We can only refuse to let it control the present, and try to live in a way that we don't and wont ever regret.
You are really brave to write this, can't be easy.
Keep writting, you good at it and it helps get our feelings sorted out from that confusion that is in our heads!!!
