Final Goodbye

by LittleMissImperfect   Jan 1, 2006

It started on that cold October day
At least that's what they say.
They say I became this way
When I was born on that day.

But I say it started when I met you
When I believed your love was true
But the truth is it'll be over soon
As soon as I get away from you.

I ran the blade down my arm
Thinking of how I fell for your charm
All you did was do me harm
That's why these scars are on my arm.

They shut me in a padded cell
I thought I knew you so well
But you made my life pure hell
That's why I'm in this cell.

My life is my misery now
So I'm taking my final bow
And this is my final vow
I'm ending my misery now.

So take my final goodbye
And write it across the sky
They all told me a lie
They told me I wouldn't die.
Too late now. Goodbye.
