Beware of these manifestations

by Flying Phoenix   Jan 1, 2006

A peaceful atmosphere
created in light
Fades away softly
with the coming of night
These gentle creatures
so timid and kind
Turn slowly savage
nightmares of the mind
Poison they seep
as they crawl around
Throughout the darkness
creating no sound
Defined they are
by colour of hair
One green, one red
One dark, one fair
These are the emotions
you long too keep
Away from the surface
buried down deep
The anger and jealousy
Envy and spite
Alone they all wait
Away from the light
For surface they will
when your faith has faded
And you strength of will
Is slowly invaded
So keep an eye out
For these lingering manifestations
Before they escape
And create many complications
