I danced with thee

by katie!   Jan 1, 2006

Insanity bound hatred drives forth a new religion
Thou holdeth every inch of madness with thine divine decision
I danced with thee that bitter winters night
Against all battles I put up no fight

Is it strange not to understand, reasons forthwith
Reasons for memory, for death and beasts speaketh
Perhaps only a sweet kiss can cure thine cancerous pain
Fall upon thine feet like a mourning rain

Liketh the lions hearty roar echoes throughout this place
What is beauty if not a shadow of thine face
Tragic hours fight merciless wars of hate
Leaving nothing to insomnia and controlling thine fate

Shadowed ebony skies reign havoc upon the night
Demons overpower each angel taking flight
I danced with thee at midnight intoxicated by thine eyes
Sitting beneath moonlight I sit and I cry

I love your poems.... they're just like mine(my others) some of my poems are deep, mostly about love but something like yours

  • This Poem Was Breathtakingly Beautiful! I Loved The Way You Wrote It With Parrable Terms (If Thats Spelt Correctly) It Was Extremely Creative Overall, I Loved Your Use Of Vocabulary! Some People Write Words Like That But Have No Substance With It, Yours Actually Had Substance And Talent! I'm Blown Away And Empressed And Happy Overall....To Have Talent Like Yours On This Site 5/5 xoxo-Nikki-xoxo
