The Forgotten Girl

by Silence   Jan 1, 2006

Someone forgotten, someone forever sad,
she was a girl that was rarely bad,
alone with no friends, the story unfolds,
a tale of how no one knows what the future holds,
crying alone, not a single friend,
dying alone, she knew her life was coming to an end,
so on the last day of school,
she, someone thought uncool,
slipped soundlessly in her bag a knife,
no one guessed she was about to take her life,
then once inside the place she dreaded,
straight through the halls to the bathroom she headed,
walking calmly in, she shut the door,
beginning to cry, she dropped her things to the floor,
picking up the knife and sliding it in her pocket,
she reached down her shirt and grabbed her locket,
opening it up, she peered inside,
seeing it filled with the tears she had cried,
she took out her knife and cut her arm,
then fell a piece of blood, a tiny charm,
touching it once, she put some into her locket,
turning the water red, she put it into her pocket,
staring hardly at the mirror,
she let out a scream and punched it fast,
out came blood, her terrible past,
taking out her knife she cried,
thinking no one would care if she died,
across her wrist, she slid it hard,
falling to the ground, a broken shard,
there she lay, in a pool of blood so red,
there she lay, finally dead,
in came a girl, who let out a terrified shreik,
looking at the corpse, she watched the blood leak,
in came a teacher, who let out a scream,
hoping that this was just a terrible dream,
she called the ambulance which came so fast,
they carried a way a girl with an unknown past,
and this is how the story ends,
a tale of a girl who had no friends.
