Firestorm

by Aesthyrian   Jan 2, 2006

"And" he said "She was as if a firestorm."
"Setting ablaze the hearts of men."
"Her voice, but a whisper
Laughter in the silence"

Imagine this:
A world, black and white
Faded to colour in a single night
Unspoken words reveal a truth untold
Watch with me as these events unfold...

A view of beauty you cannot scar
An eternal wait to get a single glance
A wall that protects this distant star
It is with this star, I wish to dance

A forest between this world and bliss
Paranoid of pain and so...
Seen only by trees with a mossy kiss
Only the sands of time will let me know

A hardened heart protects this soul
A whispered word is the key
Though time itself will take it's toll
I pray this world will remain to be free

Till the time I travel the endless void
And see the nature of this
Till the time I travel and avoid
The nature of life's loneliness

I see, as the rain shows colour of this place
The Mune whisperes to me the tune
To open the doors to see her face
To open the Doors of Time anew

Burning desire and emotions gleam
Fire burning at my heart's seams
"And" I say "She is as if a firestorm."
"Setting ablaze the hearts of men."
