The Circles In The Wheel

by RainbowSlider   Jan 2, 2006

A wheel in a wheel is what Ezekiel saw
but there is so many circles to recall.
A circle of friendship is good to know
no matter where in life you go.
May the circle be unbroken
even if no words are spoken.

The journey may be imagination in a saucer
or a work of literature by Chaucer.
It can be to distant place in a car
or in a rocket to a faraway star.
The wagon was a slow ride for sure
but the train made for a better tour.

Today we have the Internet
and more friends we may get.
Life's a trip no matter what your smoking
and there is nothing wrong with joking.
Come aboard the friendship train
and you can sing your own refrain.

A friend is a person just like you
who might of wore a ring or two.
As we go on life's journey today
pick up a friend along the way.
It makes for a better rounded gain
for you might meet that friend again.

Answers may be always sought after
about now and in the hereafter.
Today when you look in the sky
notice the sun is round like a pie.
When you have been to hell and back
you will feel the pull of the track.

Listen to the wheels on the roundhouse track
as they screech to bring you back.
Give the ticket to the conductor
and sit by the instructor.
Look out the window to see the fence posts fly
and don't life pass you by.
