Cold Cuts

I like sausage in the morning
or bacon will do.
Canadian bacon is good on a sandwich
but summer sausage is good, too.

I used to love Grandma's house
because she had all these meats.
I really liked the souse
and the hot ham was delicious.

Breaded pork chops are amazing
evening though they are fattening.
I love the smell of steaks blazing
when going to a grill out.

Pot roast is just so wonderful
because of all the things in it.
Chicken is my favorite
and there are many ways to serve it.

Leftovers is the story of my life
because of the many kinds.
Sandwiches can be made with a knife
to cut meat or to add spread.
