All I ever wanted was to be part of your heart,
But your love to another tore me apart
No one else can adore you as much as I
but your loyalty to him couldn't be a lie
As I lay awake now only dreaming of you
I figured there was nothing I could do
To have the love you show so dear
I only wish I could have before I shed a tear.
