Maybe somewhere deep down inside
there's a journey I need to take
Along the road of forgotten words
and some habits I need to break
Maybe somewhere along the way
I need to stop and look around
and pull upon some old memories
some I've lost and some I've found
I believe if I could understand
why this road I'm own is bare
like the stillness in an empty night
or missing you when your not there
Maybe if I could dig deep inside
and harness the doubts inside my mind
Or perhaps take away some fears
that seems to sometimes make me blind
There's an answer at this journey's end
If I just knew what I was looking for
Maybe just a closure of another time
or the opening of another door
Regardless how this journey ends
the rewards will be my bounty
As long as I respect and understand
There's an Independence in Carroll
County
I think everyone has a certain level
of independence and should have.
The only option we have toward that
