Hawaiian Sunset

by Miss Darcy![xXkestrelXx]   Jan 2, 2006

The Sun's golden shine,
Starts darkening into orange.
Fierce fires blaze and dance at its edges,
Dangerous but beautiful.
The reflection on the waters,
Shines with pride,
The sky that once was blue,
Turns into fierce, melting lava.

The Sun starts to fall,
Orange growing paler,
The sun turns into a gentle dove's egg,
Ready to be reborn.
The egg is concealed in a generous pearl,
Metallic, gently glowing with delicacy,
Creamy milk washed onto it's surface,
Silk wrapping it tightly.

The Sun keeps falling slowly,
The sky's light fading.
The Sun's strength weakening,
All tired and weary.
The sun strives for the horizon,
Finally touching it,
It droops slowly under Hawaiian waters,
To rest and seek love and peace of Aloha.
