It rained again today
and i thought of you
funny how it happens that way
just when the first drop falls
you cross my mind
and I'm missin' you all over again

It starting coming down
and i stood there
letting it wash over me
bringing me back to times with you
and i felt you lovin' me all over again

It started running down my face
tears you've cried
tears I've shed
what a better way to drown
and i felt you holdin' me all over again

It's been raining all day
and i don't care that I'm not dry
I'll make a wish on that rainbow for every day to be just like today
cause it's the closest I'll get to you
lovin' me all over again

It rained today
