Welocome It In

by Jeremy Edmondson   Jan 3, 2006

Welcome It In
Sitting there she could feel his heart beating
Sitting there he could feel her warm touch
The hours past and the time drew near
Sitting on that couch they bid adieu to one year and welcomed in a new
As time came closer so did they
10
Baby I need to tell you something
9
I never thought this would happen this soon
8
But I told you I would be honest with you no matter what
7
And I don’t want you to be scared
6
Or hate me for this
5
Is there any thing I could say that would make you scared of me or hate me?
4
Well maybe I should save it
3
Yeah I think I am going to save it
2
No, no I am not
1
Look baby
0
Baby I love you
With a sigh of relive that it was off his chest the boy heard a whisper
I love you too
The kiss that follows the first I love you will never fade away
Sitting on that couch
Two children made a connection
And with a simple pass of a infamous countdown became bonded
So excited to throw the past year away and welcome in a new one
One that began with a simple I love you and a long slow kiss
