Feel the burn
A kiss of pain
Healing my mind
Keeping me sane

Stinging tears
For betraying friends
My skin collapses
Everything ends

Overwhelming breaths
What did I do?
Am I blind?
Everyone else knew

I've been stabbed,
Yet again
My spine is bleeding,
Like it's been

I let my guard down
Gave trust another try
Everything came crumbling
Hit by one more lie

Empty and hurt
Cold and scared
How could I think
Someone actually cared
