Something in the way

by Bill Turner   Jan 3, 2006

Something in the way you speak to me
Voice smoothing out the wrinkles of my soul
It is as if I have known you my entire life
Words cannot explain how you make me feel
Silently hoping that this is all real

Longing to look into those eyes
They say so very much to me
Eyes cannot hide what is hidden in the soul
They expose every secret hidden within
Longing to hold you and look in yours with a grin

I crave your touch
Longing for your hand upon my face
The feel of your fingers in my hair
I long to feel the beat of your heart
Our bodies craving for a passionate start

I do not pretend to know where we are going
I only know where I have been
I know what I feel deep inside
Wanting to hold you tight
Kissing and hugging into the night
