Cold

by Mighty442   Jan 3, 2006

It's cold now, the morning's dew
I opened my eyes and see your silhouette
The way the blanket caresses the lines of your body
Am I still dreaming, as I rub my eyes
You are still there when the sleep fades away
I brush the hair from your face, it really is you
I don't know if I should smile or cry, my emotions so tied
I close my eyes, wrap my arms around your body
It's warm under the blanket, I feel your arm move around me
I smile and cry, to quite for you to hear
This moment is the moment I have waited for years
I whisper I love you, as I move in close
I kiss your lips and hold you near
It's no longer cold now, I whisper in your ear
