Formation

Shuffling the deck,
Mixing both sides of the tracks.
Black and white,
Man and woman.

A new creation,
Hope.

Judging by the looks,
Heritage behind the eyes.
Give a chance for the laughter to shine,
A chance for her to fit in.

Hearts and clubs,
A chop of the old block.

Recipe for a new success,
A trial of what’s to come.
Homeland full of greenery,
It’s so different from the past.

Trees growing into a better home,
Her soul entwining with locals.

A new beginning,
Left cobwebs back there.
Slight breeze in the air,
A reason why I can’t leave.
