So happy

At first it seemed..
i would never want things to change
but now I'm kind of glad
things aren't the same

alot less fights
no more tears
much more laughter
haven't felt this happy in years...

I'm glad i can confide in you
so happy i know your there
always around when i need you to be
always around to care

although, i have to admit
the feelings are still there
but I'm content with letting them rest now
for now I'll just keep them there

things are just a Lil bit easier
when we can just be you and me
not having to watch what we say
we just say whatever
do us day to day

I'm fine with the circumstances..
as long as we both remember
things aren't always gonna be the same
we might be able to look at each other once more
in dat special way

but that's way ahead of us
right now things are fine
