Parent-less teen

by Heather   Jan 4, 2006

It seems to hurt the most when your not there,
I don\\\'t know why I care.
You walked out and left me alone,
In the shadows I sit listening for the phone.

Parent teacher confrences again,
I\\\'m doing well.
But why can\\\'t you go anyway,
show an interest in me.

I\\\'m your youngest child,
and you are just as far away as you can be.

these are my confessions I hold Deep inside,
My confessions of a parent-less teen.
