The cutters life

by angelwolf   Jan 4, 2006

Today we run
Yesterday we fought
tomorrow we hide
We are people struggling to keep a hold on life
Though wishing to let go
While those who love us hold us here
Getting angry when they see the marks
They show their love Through gritted teeth
Always fearing that we will leave
"Who will care?" we think "oh, right they will."
"If only they would go so i could die in peace"
Then with a hug or a glance
They make you want to beg them to never leave you
So we fight and run and hide
Hoping for the love that, that one person pushed away
To be returned so we can be like them and run and play
