Peppermint Lips (Sonnet - Shakespearean)

by Simon Hayes   Jan 4, 2006

Her love is contagious, racked by desire
She will feed on you like a horde of thrips
Her kiss will smother you, a burning hot fire
Beware of her luscious peppermint lips

Eternal heart, she will break you in two
Do you dare to touch her forbidden hips
Or stare in her eyes for an obscure view
And taste her poisonous peppermint lips

Evil, treacherous, woman of the dark
Has an impure heart with a mind that grips
Once your caught, on a journey you embark
To fulfill her divine, peppermint lips

Darkness will be cast - a total eclipse
Beware of her luscious peppermint lips
