Drowning (Part V)

by Matters   Jan 4, 2006

Part five: status: Here !! Finally !!

And yet...two more parts to go! Still...not...the...endddd.

Votes and comments greatly appreciated. Smile.

On new recalls, you pause,
You face the eclipsed sun,
And all of your Hail Mary's,
Turn into Bloody ones.

You now wish for deception,
This can't be true or just,
A shiver ripples anxiously,
But looking back, you must.

The monocle refocuses,
Your retinas are seared,
The day is back in mind,
The one that caused all tears.

It happened in a blur,
The horrors of that day,
The mysteries and woe,
Have simply blown away.

He had fallen through the ice,
His head was slipping under,
You stood there in uncertainness,
In a twisted spurge of wonder.

He was dying there, beneath you,
You knew, yet you did not,
As you sat there in confusion,
His marks and soul forgot.

Finally, you realized,
You now would understand,
But as you rushed to save him,
He was dying at your hands.

Oh, and just to tell everyone, please don't rate this a one unless you write a comment why it deserves it...some loser already, unfairly, rated it as a one...grrr.
