Parents

They say they want the best for you
Excel in your life, boys are dumb
He’s going to hurt you, you know
Its all I hear
I cant take it anymore
All I want to do is be with him
I try and make them change their minds
But all they do is yell some more
I sometimes wish
I controlled their lives
Make them wish they had a life
Sure they want the best for me
But all I wish is that they could see
The love he shows me everyday
The way I feel when I am around him
The way we make each other happy
I’m not going to leave them
Or forget them forever
I’m a teenager
What more can I ask for
