Sitting here alone again
pointlessly staring out the window
at the endlessly falling snow
it covers the whole world
in cold snow flake kisses
all so beautiful and yet so cold
she graces the world with her beauty
inside and out
but then shoves everyone away
leaving them out in the cold
to wonder what went wrong
she has so much to offer
but the love that used to overflow freely
is slowly freezing 'til it stops
her aching bleeding heart
can't feel a thing anymore
she can dismiss this pain without a thought
but she forgot about the love
that she will never know
she's so much like the cold, beautiful snow
sick of being shoved to the side
making paths for more important things
she wants to be something more
to no longer be tread on by the world
but she doesn't realize how much she could be
to those around her
who love her the most
but have been shoved to the side
and left out in the cold
