No More You

by SmallSurprise   Jan 5, 2006

Like flies towards honey or a moth to the flame
You drew me in close, then shoved me out of the way

Confused and hurt I stumbled around
Didn't know what to do until I was found

He was so nice, he listened to my fears
So different from you, he used his ears

But I didn't want things moving so fast
I wanted things different, a relatioinship that would last

Slowly I pulled back, but he didn't know why
At night I liked being alone, it meant I could cry

Today he's still here, I told him the truth
We're getting married tomorrow, there's no more you
