Something deep within burns,
it doesn't bring me to pain nor does it bring me to a fantasy.
I'm come to reality people aren't who they say they are,
but i believed you not once but twice.
I've given everyone a second chance
so why when your given a second chance i the one to blame?
sadly to say your the one to blame,
for I've learned now to watch whom i care for and become friends with.
it's a life lesson that everyone should be on the look out for,
but for some it sneaks upon them.
too many people and chances were given not mention taken advantage of,
so now it's time to cut them old ties.
you really don't want to leave it behind,
but why hold on to something that is no longer yours?
both a friend and a man were lost in a painful and sorrow way,
and come to think of it you'd be better off.
all you can do for yourself is to learn to live with all obstacles that come your way,
just be on the look out for that one person whom can be a lover/friend that can end up as your worst enemy.
